The Mycelium service and this website are published and operated by:

• Operator - Lou Habert, running the project under the name "Carbonlab".
• Status - Private individual (natural person); no company or association is currently registered.
• Established in - Brussels, Belgium. Full postal address available on request by email.
• Enterprise number (BCE / KBO) - Not applicable (not registered as a business).
• VAT number - Not subject to VAT.

2. Hosting

Mycelium is self-hosted by the operator on self-managed infrastructure located in Nantes, France and Brussels, Belgium. The service is not hosted by a third-party hosting provider.

• Server locations - Nantes (France) and Brussels (Belgium).
• Network / CDN - Traffic is routed through Gcore (Luxembourg, EU) (see the Privacy Policy).

3. The service

Mycelium is an open-source communication and collaboration platform (messaging, voice and video calls, cloud storage, and collaborative documents), currently offered in beta and free of charge. There are no ads and no paid tiers at this time. The rules governing use of the service are set out in our Terms of Service.

4. Intellectual property

The Mycelium software is free and open-source, distributed under its published FOSS license; the source code is available on GitLab. The "Mycelium" and "Carbonlab" names and logos remain the property of the operator. Content you create on the platform remains yours, as described in our Terms of Service.

5. Personal data

The data controller for personal data processed through Mycelium is Lou Habert (operating as Carbonlab). All data is hosted in Europe (France). Details of what we collect, why, and your rights under the GDPR are set out in our Privacy Policy. For any data-related request, contact lou@carbonlab.dev.

6. Applicable law & jurisdiction

This legal notice and the operation of the service are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably falls under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Brussels, Belgium. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection afforded to you by any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are habitually resident, nor of your right to bring proceedings before the courts of that country.
